Employment facilitation

We offer a drop-in and appointment system that provides free services to all Newham residents

New clients are inducted via a registration system and an assessment of their employment and training needs. We can then formulate a bespoke action plan, enabling our clients to develop the skills they need.

Each tailored package will include job search training to promote and enable clients to become self reliant. Alongside the client’s own job search, we will conduct job brokerage through our network of employers and contacts within the recruitment industry.

Clients receive ongoing mentoring support and, where appropriate, we can liaise with the employer to identify any skills training needs and broker appropriate, accredited NVQ training. In doing this, our aim is to encourage the development of skills and qualifications that will ensure long term sustainable employment and career advancement opportunities.

Our training package allows for individual tailoring. Clients who simply need assistance with a CV, an application form or to revise for a specific interview, can do so and therefore meet their interview deadlines and secure new employment. Clients who are returners or new to the workplace can take advantage of the whole package, in particular the advice and guidance aspects, then make quality decisions and secure skills that will enable them to obtain and retain appropriate employment.

Our established links with fellow community providers in Newham and East London enable us to conduct effective partnership working and provide excellent referral links for our clients who have specific skill training and or specialist direction needs.
