ABOUT FIRST CALL TRAINING FORCE
Among the bodies with whom we have worked or from which we have received funding are:
The objective of all our service provision is to facilitate community members into sustainable employment via a friendly, professional and qualified team that promotes equality of access, individual respect, personal responsibility and a positive motivated life attitude. We are based in the heart of the community at St Luke’s Community Centre in Canning Town, E16. Originally a derelict Victorian church, it was converted with the express purpose of housing companies and agencies involved in community delivery and regeneration of the area. The building provides disabled access and benefits from excellent public transport services being situated close to Canning Town tube, train and bus station. Our policy is to employ local people who have personal experience of economic, educational and financial disadvantage. We provide appropriate and quality training which is part of an ongoing personal and career development plan, ensuring that project funding is invested into the heart of the community. This policy provides quality advisors who have an intimate understanding of the social issues of the area and are well equipped to identify and remove barriers to employment and meet real beneficiary needs. We hold Investor In People status and fully understand that our staff are our most valuable resource. Their competence, commitment and capacity to change are fundamental to the successful achievement of First Call Training Force’s current and future goals. Staff development and training are crucial elements of our strategic planning in the areas of research, project management, service delivery administration and management. Our Team members are part of the local community, all of whom are well motivated and actively encouraged to contribute to all aspects of business management and delivery. |
